Job Description

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final accounts. You will be responsible for preparing and managing cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.

Key responsibilities include managing contract variations, valuations, and interim applications, as well as collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure compliance with commercial and contractual obligations.

You will also support project planning and risk management activities, leveraging your analytical, negotiation, and communication skills to drive successful project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in mechanical, M&E, or decarbonisation sectors is essential.
  • Strong understanding of NEC or JCT contracts is required.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach to cost management is crucial.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
