The Clinical Nurse Specialist CAMHS-ID role is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary mental health service for children and adolescents with moderate to severe mental health disorders. \Job Description:\

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering effective, recovery-oriented, high-quality care for individuals with both intellectual disabilities and mental health disorders. The CNS has a pivotal role in the delivery of assessment, support, and treatment, working towards reduction in the need for acute hospitalization.

\Required Skills and Qualifications:\

To be eligible for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

\
  • Be registered with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) in the division(s) relevant to the application or be entitled to be so registered.\
  • Have a minimum of 1 year's post-registration full-time experience or an aggregate of 1 year's full-time experience in the division of the register in which the application is being made.\
  • Have successfully completed a post-registration programme of study, achieving a Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) major academic Level 9 or higher award relevant to the specialist area of care.
