Highly Skilled Civil Engineer Wanted

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our road improvement projects in County Cork. This is a full-time position that requires strong technical and project management abilities.

  • Develop detailed engineering plans and specifications for road construction projects, considering factors such as traffic flow, environmental impact, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate and manage road construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with engineering standards.
  • Work closely with architects, surveyors, and other stakeholders to integrate road projects into overall infrastructure plans.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment required for road construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations governing road construction and identify potential risks and challenges associated with road projects.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the durability and longevity of constructed roads.
  • Communicate with local communities and address concerns related to road construction projects.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, reports, and progress updates.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Minimum Degree qualified – Civil/Structural Engineering (NFQ Level 8).
  • 3+ years post graduate experience in a relevant industry.
  • Strong technical and design ability essential.
  • Full driver's licence required.
