Job Overview

Hyundai is seeking ambitious motor technicians with a strong desire to attain HV/Master Technician status. As a result of our growing new vehicle sales, we are looking for career-oriented motor technicians.


The Role
  • Perform all aspects of vehicle servicing and diagnostics with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Communicate with the parts and service department to obtain needed parts and inform the workshop manager if a vehicle is awaiting parts.
  • Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs after confirming authorization by the Service Manager or advisor.
  • Examine vehicles and perform health checks to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
  • Road-test vehicles to spot-check work performed.
  • Maintain a clean and neat workspace and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • A qualified technician with a National Craft Cert or equivalent QQI Level 6 qualification.
  • Experience working in a franchised dealership, preferably in a role that involves working with diagnosis equipment and modern electronics.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to identify and explain additional work required to service advisors or customers.
  • A valid driving license and a commitment to high-quality standards.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team.
