Looking for a Manufacturing Operator role that will challenge and engage you in your work? Here's an exciting opportunity to join a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role requires the ability to work independently, with excellent planning and organizational skills. You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining production and quality performance to meet specified standards, making routine adjustments, repairs and maintenance of machines as required.

The plant operates 24/7 and is the Worldwide Centre of Excellence for Pen Needle Manufacturing, producing 4.6 billion medical devices annually. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow, while contributing to the success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain production and quality performance to meet specified standards
  • Make routine adjustments, repairs and maintenance of machines as required
  • Work alongside inspirational leaders and colleagues who share a passion for excellence
  • Participate in initiatives, projects & teams as required, including Continuous Improvement, QIP (Quality Improvement Programme), Lean and 6 Sigma type teams

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of using IT systems such as manufacturing software
  • Regulated manufacturing/production environment and proven ability and willingness to learn
  • Technically qualified with a Leaving Certificate or substantial GMP manufacturing experience and a third level qualification in a technical discipline desirable
