Job Description

This pivotal role involves developing and implementing innovative business approaches through tactical planning. The focus is on achieving ambitious sales targets by executing closing, cross-selling, and direct-selling initiatives aimed at driving new business revenues.

  • Drive new business revenues in line with set targets.
  • Establish clear strategies and methodologies for generating new business from prospecting to proposal to closure.
  • Ensure pipelines align with business expectations, including adequate size, targeting the right mix of appropriately sized accounts, rapid pipeline activity turnover consistent with aggressive revenue plans, balance between lead sources, optimal range of pipeline stages, and engagement of multiple channels for prospecting new business.

You will collaborate closely with AIB Corporate and Business Banking Teams to generate quality leads and opportunities. Additionally, you will engage proactively with the Sales Team to gain necessary support for identified opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Possess a degree-level qualification in a relevant business field.
  • Hold 5+ years of successful experience in a Corporate Development or Tier 1 Sales role.
  • Acquiring experience is advantageous.
  • Exhibit an exceptional track record in identifying and prospecting new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrate excellence in influencing at all levels within an organisation.
  • Experience achieving success against challenging targets with complex sales cycles and product requirements is essential.
  • Take personal ownership for driving performance and delivering constant growth to meet and exceed targets.
