Key Role in Treasury Management

This is a critical position within the Treasury Liquidity and Exposure Management team. The Associate Manager will be responsible for supporting treasury matters involving liquidity and funding initiatives, as well as currency risk management strategies and controls.

  • Lead analysis of regional funding structures and recommend changes to maintain efficient funding.
  • Support the loan portfolio administration process including interest rate settings, interest settlements, review performance of existing loans, and identification of new loans.
  • Perform cash generation and funding analysis to support allocation of excess cash including investment strategy and tax liability funding.
  • Lead for currency exposure matters including analysis of monthly results, exchange rate variance analysis and projects and cash flow and balance hedging program exposure reporting.
  • Assist with large cross border settlements related to transfer price adjustments, one-off derivative contracts, or payments between affiliates.
  • Support efforts to maintain and update process documentation and related material to meet internal control requirements.
  • Lead process improvement and automation efforts with a focus on strengthening controls and transparency.
  • Contribute to the completion of quarterly disclosures and internal reporting related to derivatives and overseas cash.
  • Assist with funding various mergers and acquisitions and facilitate new intercompany loan structures as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in finance, economics or a related field, with a minimum 6 years of finance-related experience including treasury, banking or international treasury. A strong understanding of foreign exchange accounting and management, hedge designation requirements and disclosure process is also required.
