Cork, Cork, Ireland beBeeAccountant Full time €60,000 - €80,000

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our financial operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of hands-on financial management, with experience in managing or supporting finance functions in subsidiaries or multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full month-end close process, ensuring accurate balance sheets, P&L, and financial statements.
  • Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) cycles, including invoice processing, reconciliation, and cash application.

In addition to these core responsibilities, you will be expected to drive process improvements, ensuring robust controls and streamlined workflows between AP, AR, and general ledger.

You will also have the opportunity to supervise and mentor a small finance team and possibly a subsidiary's finance function, promoting accuracy, compliance, and professional development.

Your prior experience from a manufacturing environment will be invaluable in this role, as you will need to apply your knowledge of inventory accounting, cost allocations, overheads, and production variances to translate manufacturing operations into clear financial insights, supporting strategic decisions and operational planning.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, payroll, and other business units to support broader financial objectives and business performance.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • Experience: Proven background in hands-on financial management, especially within manufacturing or similar operational sectors.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing or supporting finance functions in subsidiaries or multiple entities.
Benefits:
  • This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and lead financial operations.
