Job Title

Analyze financial transactions and ensure timely payment to suppliers.

This role involves processing invoices, credit notes, and other financial documents. The successful candidate will work closely with the accounting team to maintain accurate records and prevent errors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process supplier invoices and credit notes in accordance with company policies.
  • Verify purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices for accuracy.
  • Prepare bi-monthly payment files for supervisor review and initiate manual wires/EFT files as needed.
  • Clear vendor invoices once payment has been approved on the banking platform.
  • Monitor daily communications and respond promptly to any queries or issues.
  • Review and process expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and post transactions accordingly.
  • Ensure month-end vendor reconciliations are completed and related accruals are recorded.
  • Adhere to reporting deadlines and SLAs, providing coverage for colleagues as needed.
Requirements
  • Accounting technician or part-qualified accountant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced public company environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Experience with NetSuite and Concur is desirable but not required.
