We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in TN Ireland on a specified purpose contract with an approximate duration of 9 months.
The selected candidate will be responsible for processing invoices and ensuring payment is within credit terms. They will also review outstanding goods receipts reports, investigate outstanding balances, and deal with external vendors daily regarding payments, statements, and problems arising.
The ideal candidate will have strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks, meeting tight deadlines, particularly at month end. They will also be a self-sufficient team player with good communication skills, able to interact with other departments and management effectively.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and ensure payment is within credit terms.
- Review outstanding goods receipts report and investigate outstanding balances.
- Deal with external vendors daily regarding payments, statements, and problems arising.
- Meet internally with colleagues across departments to resolve accounts payable issues.
- Completion of key tasks/reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely reporting at month end.
- Exercise internal controls to maintain compliance with financial policies and Global Control Standards.
- Minimum of 2 years proven demonstrated track record in a busy Accounts Payable environment, ideally multi-national focused.
- Exposure to and working knowledge of SAP or Oracle is desired.
- Good time-management skills and the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines, particularly at month end.
- Strong team player with good communication skills, who can interact with other departments and management.
