We are now looking for an Accounts Payable / Purchasing Specialist to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our financial operations, you will support the Cork office by managing supplier payments, remittances, and queries to maintain healthy cashflow.
The successful candidate will process and reconcile invoices, maintaining accurate accounts payable records, and support banking, treasury, and intercompany transactions. They will also assist with month-end closing, budgeting, and cashflow planning, investigate and resolve payment issues or irregularities, raise and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery, and maintain accurate purchasing data in line with company guidelines.
To be considered for this role, you should have relevant purchasing or accounts payable experience, or a third-level qualification in business, accounting, or commerce. Strong IT skills and understanding of purchase ordering cycles are essential, as well as proficiency in computerised accounting packages, preferably SAGE.
