Investment Performance Expert

We are working with a specialist investment manager to source an expert in investment performance and risk analysis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with various teams across the firm to drive investment performance and risk analysis.


Key Responsibilities
  • Producing attribution reports for standard and bespoke portfolios
  • Understanding and explaining investment performance through attribution analysis
  • Conducting style and fundamentals analysis on portfolios
  • Analysing portfolio performance relative to peers to support commercial analysis

Investment Analysis
  • Performing ad-hoc portfolio analysis for the investment team
  • Providing tailored analysis based on investment style requirements
  • Reporting and presenting information including data visualisation output
  • Maintaining accurate data management practices

Risk Management
  • Conducting risk analysis and developing risk models (Barra, Port, FactSet)
  • Supporting the Head of Investment Risk

Requirements
  • Degree qualified with strong numerical skills, achieving at least a 2:1 classification
  • 2-4 years experience in performance analysis and attribution in investment management
  • Ability to automate processes, effective communication skills, and stakeholder engagement
  • A self-motivated individual who can work independently
  • A team player, engaging and keen to develop strong working relationships with local and international teams
