Care Professional Supporting Vulnerable Adults

As a Social Care Worker, you will be part of a brilliant team who work together to support adults toward independent living and community integration.
- Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.
- Have 1 year's experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
- Experience working with challenging behaviours.
- Strong working knowledge of legislation in place to protect vulnerable adults.
- Must hold a full, clean manual driver's license and availability of own car for this post.
- An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
- Ability to follow, evaluate and contribute to the further development of plans and methods to meet ongoing needs of individuals supported.
- Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
