Port Operations Manager - Automation Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the development and maintenance of automation systems across the Dublin Port facility operation.
• Manage teams to ensure efficient operations, implement process optimisation initiatives, and maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to improve production processes, efficiency, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards through proactive engagement, inspections, and reporting.
• Participate in leadership and contribute to strategic planning, decision-making, and project management.
Requirements:
• Extensive industry experience (5+ years) in process environments with a focus on automation system development and maintenance.
• Proven track record of leading and managing teams, with strong strategic planning and decision-making skills.
• Experience in process optimisation, improving efficiency, and implementing best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and experience in maintaining a safe working environment.
Education and Skills:
• Degree or Diploma in Automation or Mechatronic Engineering or similar.
• Proficiency in automation and process control systems, quality assurance, and production technologies.
