Process Engineer Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our organization.

This role will involve spearheading the characterization and validation of critical process steps in the device manufacturing process, focusing on laser welding and soldering techniques. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving yield improvements and ensuring that products meet industry standards.

The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for leading process development across equipment design, process parameters, and component control. This will include developing and executing process characterization tools for medical device processes, ideally experienced in YAG laser welding and soldering, to develop a clear understanding of inputs on outputs.

An essential part of this role is establishing and implementing validation plans that comply with regulatory standards, ensuring that processes operate effectively within defined specifications.

  1. Spearhead the development of new process technologies and methodologies to improve product quality and reduce costs.

  2. Lead cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize existing processes.

  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Deep expertise in Design of Experiments, statistical methods, and process optimization.
