Human Resource Management Expert Wanted

The Bergerie Trust is a charitable organisation dedicated to addressing homelessness and vulnerability in the community. Our mission is to provide housing and care services that focus on the needs of vulnerable elderly people.

We are seeking an individual with expertise in Human Resource management to join our board. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful contribution to our organisation.

About the Role

This role involves providing input to the strategic direction of the organisation, contributing with insight, oversight, and experience at board meetings, and any additional commitments. You will also be responsible for policy development and implementation as required.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic planning and decision-making
  • Policy development and implementation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A background in Human Resource Management
  • Ideal location: Munster region
  • Experience serving on not-for-profit Board of Directors or sub-committees is beneficial
  • An understanding of and commitment to our mission and values
  • The time and commitment to fulfil the role
  • Commitment to the highest level of corporate governance
