Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead our hotel's Human Resources department.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive HR policies and procedures that align with employment legislation and industry standards.
- They will partner with senior management to drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning initiatives.
- The HR Manager will oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, from advertising roles to onboarding new employees.
- Key responsibilities include overseeing training and development programs, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary matters.
- They will also manage HR administration, including contracts, personnel files, payroll liaison, and compliance reporting.
- The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all health & safety and employment law requirements.
- Additional responsibilities include acting as a trusted point of contact for all HR-related matters and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years HR management experience, preferably within a 4* or 5* hotel or high-volume hospitality environment.
- Certification in human resources (CIPD or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of Irish employment law and best practices is essential.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive issues with professionalism and discretion is required.
- A solutions-focused approach to HR management is necessary, along with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
