Job Title: Goods In Operative

The position involves receiving and processing goods into the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stock management. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent organisational skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the receipt of all incoming goods using an in-house computer system.
  • Flexibility to multitask and work within the role including working in chilled & frozen areas.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is a key requirement.
  • Stock control duties – rotation & stocktakes.
  • Process stock returns, damaged stock and out of date products.
  • Maintaining the area and keeping it clean and tidy.
  • Assisting customers.
  • Ensuring all required paperwork and administration is completed and up to date.
  • Ensuring compliance with all Food Safety, Health & Safety and Security requirements.
Requirements:
  • A professional approach to their work and dealing with colleagues, management, and business partners.
  • The ability to work with and adhere to standard operating procedures.
  • A strong awareness of health and safety & food safety requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Good organisational and time management abilities.
  • Be a highly motivated individual, who takes initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Be dedicated and flexible.
  • Have experience working in a warehouse and/or goods-in environment.
  • Have reach and counterbalance forklift driving experience and hold an up-to-date operator's certificate preferred but not essential.
