Job Description

As a Crew Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our airline.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring crew are within flight time legal limits to guarantee safe and efficient flight operations.
  • Accurately recording crew absenteeism and punctuality to maintain high standards of performance.
  • Developing and implementing solutions to day-to-day crewing problems through effective problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Assisting with the development of efficient, cost-effective solutions to operational disruptions to minimize delays and maximize customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will work on a shift basis with rotation shifts on a 4 on/4 off roster, including night shifts. This role requires a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of a dynamic environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Good telephone manner to handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
