As a key professional in our organization, we are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Manager to play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the environmental management of a major project.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Environmental Management Plan (EMP).
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough environmental impact assessments and risk assessments.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and clients to ensure environmental requirements are met.
  • Monitor and report on environmental performance, including site inspections and audits.
  • Implement sustainable practices and promote environmental awareness across the project team.
  • Manage resources effectively to minimize environmental impact.
  • Lead environmental incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide environmental training and guidance to project staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental management, with a focus on industrial projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
  • Proven experience in conducting environmental assessments and audits.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficient in environmental management systems (EMS) and related software tools.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.
