Renewable Energy Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to provide general quantity surveying services for our wind farm, substation, and overhead projects in the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with local project sites and project/site managers to ensure optimal delivery of projects
- Report directly to the Business Unit General Manager
- Purchase sub-contractors and prepare contract documents
- Establish initial project budgets and maintain them on a regular basis through the life cycle of the project
- Agree on variations for both civil and electrical works with clients
- Prepare valuation claims based on milestone payments set up by client
- Maintain accurate cost reporting systems and associated projections
- A third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience preferably in a construction environment with a civil engineering bias
- Highly IT literate with experience of applying general/specialist packages within QS context
- Prior experience of negotiating and interpreting conditions of contract
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills combined with analytical and problem-solving skills to reach realistic workable solutions
