
Community Mental Health Support Specialist

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our Community Mental Health Team in Churchtown Primary Care Centre and Elm Mount Unit in St Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin 4.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive social work services to individuals with mental health needs while also supporting families and carers where appropriate.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mental health issues and relevant legislation, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. You should have a minimum of one year post-qualification experience in a mental health or related setting and be registered with CORU as a Professionally Qualified Social Worker.
Required Skills and Qualifications:">- ">
- A recognised qualification in Social Work">
- Registration with CORU as a Professionally Qualified Social Worker">
- Minimum of one year's post-qualification experience in a mental health or related setting">
- Demonstrated understanding of mental health issues and relevant legislation (e.g. Mental Health Act 2001, Children First, Assisted Decision Making Act)">
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills">
- Full clean driving licence and access to own car">
