**Database Professional Wanted**

We are seeking a skilled database administrator to join our organization.

**Job Summary:**

The ideal candidate will have expertise in relational databases, specifically MariaDB and Oracle. This role involves ensuring the stability and scalability of our enterprise database platform.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Install, configure and update our current environment of hundreds of instances.
  • Optimize current and future instances to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with fellow database administrators, development and engineering teams to share ideas and recommendations for solutions that increase and expand enterprise database capabilities.
  • Develop scripting skills to automate and improve our environment.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field required.
  • 5+ years of experience with MariaDB required.
  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle required.
  • Strong relational database knowledge, troubleshooting and performance tuning required.
  • Thorough understanding of Linux operating system and Linux shell scripting required.
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as SQL Diagnostic Manager for MySQL and Oracle Enterprise Manager or similar tools required.
  • Knowledge of high availability architectures required.
