Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives to maximize business opportunities and reduce costs.
  • Negotiate pricing, deals, contracts, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to reduce sourcing costs and build on current product offerings.
  • Conduct regular market and spend analysis to drive cost savings and supplier improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective solutions.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop business and maximize opportunities.
  • Manage tender enquiries and negotiation of contracts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualifications: Relevant industry-related experience or qualification in supply chain management or sourcing preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organisational and administration skills; excellent negotiation and decision-making skills; good computer skills (MS Office); SAP ERP experience highly desirable.
  • Personal Attributes: Flexible and pro-active attitude with an ability to think strategically; able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; ability to work as part of a team and to deadlines.
