Engineering Specialist Opportunity

A career-enhancing role has arisen for an Engineering Specialist at our cutting-edge facility in Dunboyne. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance by completing scheduled maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and coordinate weekly maintenance schedules with the site enterprise scheduling team to ensure required time is allocated.
  • Lead and chair weekly schedule meetings to review metrics and implement action plans.
  • Compile weekly metric reports and maintain long, medium, and short-term look-ahead plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Plant Engineering during weekly finite scheduling meetings and lead Maintenance Tier 0 meetings to ensure daily maintenance schedules are completed.
  • Collaborate with the reliability team and equipment vendors to develop service level agreements (SLAs) and account for monthly accruals relating to SLA spend.
  • Submit purchase requisitions for maintenance expenditure and seek feedback from stakeholders to continually improve the maintenance and scheduling process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Trade and/or third-level engineering/technical qualification
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Strong knowledge of work management and maintenance best practices
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship building with stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple inputs
  • Flexible and self-motivated

Preferred Skills:

  • Proven record of accomplishments working in a Pharma/Biopharma company or related industry
  • Proven ability around working cross-functionally and meeting/tracking to schedules
  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment
  • Organizational skills – ability to manage multiple priorities and know when to escalate issues for resolution
