The Facility Maintenance Assistant is responsible for providing a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance within the Council premises.
This role involves maintaining a clean and safe working environment, including offices, corridors, and other areas. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Carrying out routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying bins
- Using specialized equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and pressure washers
- Reporting any maintenance or repair issues to the relevant teams
- Providing excellent customer service and responding to queries and requests from customers and colleagues
