Painter Role:

We are seeking a skilled painter to join our Engineering Team in Dublin, Ireland.

  • Perform all painting tasks within the Hotels, including stain and paint work on timber.
  • Complete assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner with minimal disruption to guests and staff.
  • Report low stock levels for required items to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Take instructions from the General Manager & Maintenance Manager, ensuring bedrooms, corridors, public areas etc. meet company and guest standards.
  • Liaise and assist departments regarding painting issues, promoting good working relationships.
  • Keep work areas clean, neat and organized at all times.
  • Clean and touch up painted surfaces throughout the Hotels.
  • Maintain brushes and rollers in good condition.
  • Use safety precautions when using tools, chemicals, ladders and other potentially dangerous equipment or supplies.
  • Handle and report accidents immediately, no matter how minor.
  • Respond to hotel emergencies or safety situations.
  • Perform additional tasks or duties as assigned by management.
  • Liaise and maintain relations with departments by responding promptly to problems and service breakdowns.
  • Provide hands-on skills to ensure systems such as electrical, sewage, plumbing, heating and lighting are maintained in good working order and any defects corrected promptly.
  • Ensure all areas are maintained in a safe condition and take immediate action when unsafe conditions arise.
  • Monitor energy consumption and develop an energy awareness culture within the property.
  • Manage service contracts including mechanical and electrical services, fire protection, lifts, building repairs and energy supplies.
  • Ensure all services are maintained to a high standard in line with company policy, without compromising safety and comfort.
  • Complete checklists and reports within deadlines.
  • Attend meetings and training as required.
