We are seeking a skilled Design Services Professional to join our team. As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for designing and managing building services systems for large-scale projects.
This includes HVAC, utilities, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Lead the design from concept to handover, ensuring high-quality results.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and contribute to the development of our design capability.
- Attend design team meetings, conduct onsite inspections, and develop and guide team members under your supervision.
- Liaise and interact with the wider project team, including designers, clients, and contractors.
As a Design Services Professional, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and managing building services systems, including HVAC, utilities, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Leading the design from concept to handover, ensuring high-quality results.
- Acting as a subject matter expert (SME) and contributing to the development of our design capability.
- Attending design team meetings, conducting onsite inspections, and developing and guiding team members under your supervision.
- Liaising and interacting with the wider project team, including designers, clients, and contractors.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 7+ years' experience in the design of building services systems, preferably in a consultancy environment in the pharmaceutical or allied sectors.
- Competence in design software such as Fluid Flow or Pipe-Flo.
- Honours degree (NFQ Level 8 for Ireland) in Building Services or Mechanical engineering.
- Experience working in a collaborative BIM environment.
