As part of the WorkAbility: Inclusive Pathways to Employment Programme, you will be working in Ballymun, Dublin, and will be required to travel to all CRC Adult Services locations.

Job Overview

The Career and Employment Facilitator will create, develop, and support adults in preparing for employment.

Key responsibilities include building relationships with employers to create opportunities for work experience and employment.

This role offers a tailored approach to supporting individuals engaging in employment, while also providing information to employers on disability and legislation.

Role Responsibilities
  • Create and develop strategies to support adults in employment
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with employers to create work experience and employment opportunities
  • Provide information to employers on disability and legislation
Essential Requirements
  • One year's relevant experience working with people with disabilities or in a career/employment role
  • Experience of networking, building, and maintaining professional relationships
  • Experience creating opportunities for work placement or paid work with employers or other community-based opportunities
  • Awareness of Safeguarding Vulnerable Persons/Child Protection
  • Experience in reaching targets and achieving results
  • Relevant technical qualification, i.e. QQI Level 7 or above in social studies, management, education or a related discipline
Desirable Requirements
  • Certificate in Supported Employment desirable
  • Experience of supporting adults with transitions, long term targets and life goals
  • Mentoring experience and/or motivational role model skills

This role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends as services are delivered according to individual needs.
