Job Overview
The position of Orthopaedic Clinical Support Specialist is a key role within our team, focused on providing clinical support and promoting surgical devices to key opinion leaders and large hospital groups across the territory.
As part of this role, you will work closely with experienced Territory Managers to shadow cases and provide technical advice and training to customers. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop sales opportunities and advise on product usage.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our business.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide customers with expert technical advice and training on the safe and effective use of our products and surgical techniques.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key surgeons and other healthcare professionals to identify and pursue sales opportunities.
- Support the management of consignment inventory, loan kits, and ordering patterns to ensure seamless customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of customer activity on our CRM system, including information on usage, purchasing protocols, and competitor activity.
- Contribute to the development of product and procedure knowledge with the sales team through teaching in theatre settings, classroom sessions, or induction training programs.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 2-5 years' experience in surgical or theatre environments (Scrub Nurse).
- Full clean driving license.
- Specific experience in Surgical Orthopaedics is essential.
- Hospital-based physiotherapists may also be considered.
