Purpose of the Role:
The Senior Orthopaedic Surgical Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care, advancing medical knowledge, and contributing to academic and research activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and coordinating patient care for orthopaedic patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective patient care and treatment plans
- Participate in clinical research, audits, and quality improvement projects
- Engage in teaching, education, and mentoring junior colleagues and students
- Contribute to developing policies, procedures, and guidelines related to patient care and hospital operations
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Registration as a Medical Practitioner with relevant authorities
- Completion of specialist training in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Capacity for critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making
