Expert Relocation Supporter

We are seeking an Expert Relocation Supporter to join our team. As a key member of our relocation support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to employees relocating to new cities. This is a remote opportunity with the flexibility to work from home or on-site as needed.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and clients alike. You will be responsible for guiding employees through every stage of the relocation process, from finding a new home to navigating local regulations. Your expertise will help make relocation a seamless experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Developing strong relationships with relocating employees and understanding their needs and concerns throughout the relocation process.
  • Providing expert guidance on neighborhoods, transportation options, and local culture to help employees make informed decisions.
  • Conducting in-depth housing research, including rental market trends, school ratings, commute times, and neighborhood suitability based on client preferences.
  • Offering school support by presenting public and private options based on destination, and assisting with school viewings and admissions when possible.
  • Assisting with essential services such as converting driver's licenses, banking setup, and other logistical requirements for a smooth transition.
  • Supporting and guiding relocating employees through local regulations in the host country, including townhall registration, obtaining social IDs, and tax registration.
  • Courting personalized recommendations for social, cultural, and lifestyle activities, including restaurants, networking events, fitness centers, and family-friendly venues.
  • Gathering and delivering customized information by researching and utilizing software and GSuite to create tailored client reports.
  • Coordinating and leading area tours, in person or virtually, providing insights into neighborhoods, housing options, and key amenities.
  • Facilitating ongoing communication with relocating employees via phone, email, video calls, or in-person meetings to address questions and provide timely updates.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact throughout the relocation journey, liaising between clients, partners, and vendors for a seamless experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A minimum of 5 years' residency in Cork, with extensive knowledge of the local rental market, education system, and local registration processes.
  • A reliable 4-door vehicle and valid driver's license for in-person client services.
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week.
  • Flexibility and availability to work Monday to Friday.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Education and Technology

Prior experience with Microsoft Office, Google GSuite, and CRM systems is preferred. A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) is also beneficial but not necessary.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
