Commercial Channel Development Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Channel Development Manager to join our team at Placeme Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers to promote our products and services.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement a commercial strategy for targeted consultants and specifier channels.
- Provide education and training to applicable consultants and specifier channels.
- Maintain robust knowledge of the full offer based on products, solutions, software, and services.
- Cross-sell the offers to existing customers.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Educational background: Technical qualification, preferably at degree level in engineering.
Previous sales experience in electrical or mechanical engineering.
A strong skill set that includes:
- Technical knowledge of electrical systems.
- Distribution and protection experience.
- Power quality experience.
- Software sales experience.
- Account management skills.
- Cold calling and social selling experience.
- Ability to persuade, convince, or impress others.
- Active listening skills.
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships.
- Energetic, outgoing, proactive, with attention to prospecting and networking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good knowledge of power systems, secure power, and industry systems.
