Product Specialist – Life Sciences Job Opportunity

This role focuses on customer satisfaction, retention, and business growth. As a dedicated product specialist, you will engage with customers via phone, email, chat, and video conferencing to close sales and support clients.

You will be responsible for managing and developing customer relationships by visiting client sites within the assigned territory. Your key responsibilities include promoting and selling life science solutions, supporting the field and inside sales teams through training, demonstrations, and technical expertise, analyzing and sharing market trends, customer purchasing plans, and competitive insights, organizing customer site events such as seminars, workshops, and user days, maintaining accurate activity and opportunity data in CRM systems, and leading complex sales projects from initial engagement to long-term strategic partnerships.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Sales experience within a laboratory setting is required.
  • A PhD or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Neurosciences, Biotechnology, Genetics, Immunology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Structural Biology, Proteomics, Agricultural Sciences, or Agronomy is necessary.
  • Strong business development and market knowledge skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork abilities are required.
  • Proficiency in Excel and CRM systems is expected.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating reliability and confidence, is essential.
  • A full, clean driving license is also required.
