Project Planner

We are seeking a skilled Project Planner to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of our planning services and collaborate with professionals across various sectors.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in project coordination, planning applications, and environmental impact assessments. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team are essential.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and deliver projects, including preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects while working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to achieve high-quality outcomes.
  • Interpret and evaluate planning policies, providing informed recommendations to colleagues.
Requirements:
  • A recognized planning qualification (IPI or RTPI accredited).
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience.
  • Solid understanding of the planning system and key environmental considerations.
  • Experience in offering planning-related advice.
  • Knowledge of planning, development, and environmental issues.
  • Proficient in drafting reports and making well-rounded recommendations.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
