Senior Technical Leader

Overview

Our organization is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Leader to oversee the delivery of complex technical projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and experience in managing large-scale technology programs.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to project teams to ensure successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and with high quality.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and budgets to ensure effective project execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring smooth project progression.

Technical Expertise

  • Have a deep understanding of Agile and hybrid delivery frameworks, as well as BPM, AI/ML, or enterprise IT transformation programs.
  • Be familiar with program management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Clarity, Planview, Confluence, and possess knowledge of different software systems, client/server architectures, and various compatibility requirements.

Leadership & Communication

  • Excellent ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders (CxO level) and lead cross-functional teams, manage conflict, and drive accountability.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for structured reporting and act as primary liaison to executive sponsors and steering committees.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Competencies

  • Proven experience managing large-scale technology or digital transformation programs, with a strong background in budget ownership, financial forecasting, and cost optimization.
  • Deep expertise in program governance frameworks, portfolio management, and executive reporting, with certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or ITIL.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, SAFe, PRINCE2, or PMP delivery methodologies and familiarity with program management tools.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with value realization tracking for large-scale programs, exposure to Responsible AI governance, and ethical technology adoption.
