We are seeking a highly skilled Injection Moulding Professional to join our team as a Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage production staff to ensure targets are met, staffing levels are adequate, and productivity is maximized.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain efficient production methods and procedures, focusing on injection moulding and extrusion core processes.
  • Manage troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of injection moulding and extrusion tooling.
  • Ensure machines, tools, and processes operate within prescribed tolerances and maintenance schedules.
  • Promote continuous improvement activities on new and existing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain an appropriate spares inventory for key maintenance items to minimize downtime.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on injection moulding equipment and coordinate repairs when necessary.
  • Execute mould changeovers and equipment setups efficiently during production runs.
  • Conduct equipment qualifications and validations to meet quality system and end customer requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role with expertise in injection moulding.
  • HETAC Level 6 qualification in Polymer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Eligibility to work full time in Ireland with strong knowledge of European regulations.
  • Excellent supervisory and leadership skills with ability to train and develop staff.
  • Detailed understanding of mould tooling, tooling materials, and IQ/OQ/PQ validation processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
