AI Algorithm Developer

We are seeking a skilled AI algorithm developer to join our team in Ireland.

Huawei's products and services are available in more than 170 countries, used by a third of the world's population. Our mission is to position Huawei as a recognized technology leader and global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider.

Our research team focuses on developing AI algorithms for cutting-edge advancements in Large Language Models (LLM). Key application areas include smart health, data, infrastructure, and advertising operations.

As an AI algorithm developer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance LLM applications. You will collaborate with other team members to define and implement features and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance LLM applications
  • Collaborate with other team members to define and implement features and improvements
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and development environments

Requirements:

  • Advanced Degree: Ph.D. or master degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field
  • Strong Engineering Skills: 3+ years of backend/algorithm development experience with deep proficiency in Python
  • Proven LLM & Agent Experience: Hands-on experience developing LLM models, LLM-based applications or agents
  • Full-Cycle Ownership: Demonstrated ability to independently research, develop, and deploy projects from concept to production
