We are seeking a senior database expert to join our team. This role involves leading the migration and redevelopment of existing reference data functionality into next-generation strategic platforms.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in database design and optimization techniques, including indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning. They should also be able to build reliable, efficient stored procedures and optimize complex queries.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, are essential for this position. Excellent communication skills are also required, with the confidence to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the migration and redevelopment of existing reference data functionality into next-generation strategic platforms.
  • Design and develop tools to streamline the onboarding of new data feeds, with a focus on automation, data quality monitoring, reconciliation, and testing.
  • Enhance the core reference data platform with features to support data quality control and analytics.
  • Contribute new capabilities to strategic systems to support evolving business requirements.
  • Occasionally provide third-level support for production applications.
