About the Role
This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Oracle Database Engineer to support our database estate and Exadata Engineered Systems in Dublin.
- Provide technical expertise for incident escalation, performance analysis, and application development support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Take ownership of complex incidents, perform ongoing patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities, as well as security initiatives and backup management.
- Demonstrate expertise in Oracle 19c, Oracle 23AI, RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, Recovery Appliance, and Exadata.
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 10 years' experience in Oracle Database Engineering, with a strong focus on database administration, performance tuning, and backup management.
- Expert knowledge of Oracle 19c, Oracle 23AI, Exadata, RAC, Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, Recovery Appliance, and related technologies.
