Health and Safety professionals play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of workers, communities, and the environment. In this permanent position, you will work with an established Main Contractor to develop and implement effective health and safety strategies.

About the Role
  • Participate in site meetings to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation plans.
  • Provide clear instructions and information to parties on-site, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Effective incident reporting is crucial to preventing reoccurrences and minimizing downtime.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is current, accurate, and easily accessible.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality EHS instructions to ensure seamless execution of tasks.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and internal audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Report directly to the management group and collaborate with the EHS Manager to drive organizational performance.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate site safety records, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant qualification or certification, such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Health and Safety, with a proven track record of implementing effective safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with stakeholders.
