Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to provide quality engineering support in quality assurance, control and preventative activities within operations and other business functions.

  • Responsibilities include working closely with operations and business functions to ensure quality performance of product and processes
  • Approving non-conforming products, building proficiency in problem solving and root causing activities
  • Participating in the development and improvement of manufacturing processes for existing and new products
  • Reviewing change management activities
  • Maintaining KPIs for monitoring process quality, performing analysis and interpreting trends, and taking action as necessary
  • Supporting execution and analysis of quality audits and tests

Qualification requirements include:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field is required
  • Previous experience in industry is desirable
  • Understanding of medical device concepts is desirable
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485, GDP, and GMP concepts is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • A good understanding of engineering and quality concepts/theories
  • High level PC skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint packages
  • A self-starter with an efficient work style and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work as part of a multi-site team, with some travel required
