Sample Management Lead

We are seeking a Sample Management Lead to oversee the management, processing, and distribution of biological samples within clinical trials.

About the Role:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, including sample receipt, processing, storage, and shipment.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, quality standards, and internal policies related to sample management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate sample processing in support of clinical trial activities.
  • Manage inventory control and tracking systems to maintain proper documentation and chain of custody for all samples.
  • Provide leadership and training to staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of sample management professionals to achieve high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in sample management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that sample management activities align with overall business objectives.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline, such as biology or chemistry.
  • Experience in sample management, biobanking, or laboratory operations within a clinical research environment.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices related to sample handling and storage.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
