Purchasing Quality Specialist - Temporary Role - 23 Month Contract

Job Overview:
  • Deliver day-to-day inspection expertise in the areas of Component and Mechatronic Inspection of incoming material to support manufacturing operations.
  • Prepare and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and conduct lot inspection activities.
  • Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, dispositioning defective products for rework, and verifying re-work.
  • Determine acceptance or rejection of materials presented for inspection.
  • Document inspection results by completing quality inspection reports and logs, and accurately inputting data into the quality database.
  • Support the Supplier Quality Engineering department with failure and nonconforming material data recording and reporting.

This role requires a strong 'can-do' attitude, coupled with a desire to learn and grow. Experience in Quality Control for medical devices or equivalent, along with a minimum of 2 years exposure in a similar manufacturing environment, is essential.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate supplier capability to meet quality requirements to ensure supplier processes align with organizational standards.
  • Contribute to technology transfer initiatives and new product introduction projects.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and procedures, and complying with quality regulations.
