Job Description\

As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and secure environment for individuals to participate in community activities, make choices, and enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle.

The Role:\

The Support Worker will work closely with the Team Leader and other colleagues to provide individualized support to people with intellectual disabilities. This includes assisting with daily living tasks, promoting independence, and encouraging social participation.

  • Assisting with daily living tasks such as personal care and household chores\

Required Skills and Qualifications:\

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good general education\
  • A recognized qualification appropriate to the field of intellectual disability (QQI Level 5 or higher is desirable)\
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and challenging behavior\
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills\
