The General Manager is a senior role within our organization, responsible for the full sales, commercial and operational management of our Sports Nutrition business.

Operated from its dedicated depot, this position will develop and deliver ambitious strategies and project plans for the continued growth of the Sports Nutrition business, working cross-functionally across the wider business.

Specific accountabilities include delivering against sales, profitability and operational metrics for the business, managing supplier partnerships, and developing customer relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of sales, margin and operational budgets
  • Development of partnership agendas with suppliers
  • Managing a portfolio of brands, including product range and selection
  • Meeting customer and sales requirements
  • Fostering and developing customer relationships
  • Identification of new business opportunities and sales development
  • Responsibility for in-bound and outbound supply chain and stock levels

The ideal candidate will have extensive relevant experience in the FMCG environment, with core competencies including strategic thinking ability, financial management, negotiating, influencing, leadership and relationship development skills.
