Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated engineer who can conceptualize innovative solutions to fastening problems and design, develop or improve fastening solutions for customers.

  • The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to identify new application opportunities and develop effective strategies to meet customer needs.
  • Coordination of testing required for prototypes, pilot production and final customer acceptance is also a key responsibility.
  • Additionally, you will provide technical support to customers, distributors and Regional Sales Managers.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential in this role.

Key Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Third-level degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of engineering experience
  • Proficiency with Solid Modelling software (Pro/E preferred) and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with engineering tools such as SPC
  • Finite Element Analysis, desirable
