Employment Law Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Employment Law Solicitor to join our team in Cork.

This role involves providing strategic advice and practical solutions to clients across both the public and private sectors, handling a diverse caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters including:

  • Advising employers through investigations, disciplinary proceedings, and termination of employment.
  • Advising employers on protected disclosures, transfer of undertakings, employment equality, and unfair dismissals.
  • Representing employers (primarily) and employees before the Workplace Relations Commission, Labour Court, and Civil Courts.
  • Drafting, negotiating, and advising upon contracts, policies, and termination agreements.

The team also supports clients on Data Protection/Regulatory matters.

Requirements
  • Irish qualified Solicitor with at least 6-7 years' PQE.
  • In-depth knowledge of a full range of employment matters (employee or employer experience welcomed).
  • Data Protection advisory experience is advantageous but not required.
  • An ability to handle a caseload independently while being a strong team player.
  • An ability to adopt a commercial/practical perspective rather than an 'academic' approach to legal issues.
