Asset Management Audit Manager

We are seeking an experienced audit manager to join our Asset Management team. This role will involve working on a diverse portfolio of clients, including Funds, Aviation Leasing, Structured Finance and SPV.\\[br]

As an audit manager, you will be responsible for leading engagement teams and ensuring delivery of services to clients within set deadlines.\\[br]

You will also be required to assist and motivate the team, allocate administration tasks, and act as a technical resource for financial services covering a range of accounting standards.\\[br]

Ongoing supervision, training and development of staff will be essential in maintaining firm standards throughout the entire audit process.\\[br]

Additionally, you will participate in business development activities, proactively develop client relationships, and work closely with client management to develop commercially focused solutions.\\[br]

• ACA/ ACCA/ CPA qualified with 5+ years' PQE;\\[br]\
• Audit experience of financial services entities (or any recent audit experience together with other experience of working in the financial services sector);\\[br]\
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral communication, especially report writing skills);\\[br]\
• Strong technical competence including extensive knowledge of auditing and assurance standards and IFRS; working knowledge of US GAAP and FRS 102 are desirable;\\[br]\
• The ability to motivate and manage staff under tight deadlines;\\[br]\
• Project and portfolio management experience;\\[br]\
• Strong interpersonal skills, initiative and attention to detail;\\[br]\
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the financial sector and regulatory agenda;\

  • Experience: You will have a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in audit or a related field.\
  • Technical Competence: Strong knowledge of auditing and assurance standards, particularly IFRS, and preferably US GAAP and FRS 102.\
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong report writing skills.\
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and manage teams effectively, motivating and developing staff under tight deadlines.\
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the financial sector and regulatory agenda.\
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and attention to detail.\
  • Business Development: Proven ability to identify and pursue business opportunities, developing commercially focused solutions.\
  • IT Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
