We are seeking an experienced Process Development Scientist to join our team in Dublin, Grange Castle. As a key member of the operations team, you will be at the forefront of process development and optimization for protein manufacturing processes.

About the Role:

This is an on-site role that requires strong technical expertise in cell culture sciences and bioprocessing technologies. You will work closely with analytical scientists to characterize proteins during process development studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Develop and optimize robust cell culture processes via experimental investigations">
  • Operate mammalian cell culture processes up to 750 L scale within the Pilot Lab">
  • Apply knowledge of cell culture technologies, bioprocess engineering, and biochemistry to cell culture process development projects">
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive process development and implementation">

Requirements:

">

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in biotechnology, chemistry, or chemical engineering, with a minimum of 4 years' experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Your experience should include specific knowledge and practical experience of large molecule bio processing and separation sciences.

  • BEng / BSc in Biotechnology / Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Biochemical Engineering">
  • MSc / MEng in Biotechnology / Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Biochemical Engineering">
  • PhD in Biotechnology / Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Biochemical Engineering">
  • Technical fields of experience preferably to include specific knowledge and practical experience of large molecule bio processing and separation sciences gained at a minimum at BEng or BSc level or through work experience">
  • Familiar with problem-solving, risk analysis, and/or statistical tools">
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written)">
  • A team player by preference">
  • An analytical thinker with a scientific curiosity and flair for laboratory experimentation">
  • Highly motivated">
  • Proactive engagement with key stakeholders">
